Threeplicate Launches Amanuens Beta
Milano, Italy, 2010/03/10Threeplicate, an Italian startup whose mission is creating "software that works", is proud to announce a new product after the much appreciated ScrewTurn Wiki engine.
Amanuens is an innovative
Software as a Service product that will enable software development companies to operate more efficiently and effectively during the
localization of its software packages.
Amanuens synchronizes automatically with the source code repository, and presents resources to be translated with a simple and functional interface that is completely web-based. Synchronization between translated resources and the source code repository is bi-directionally, thus developers are no longer required to manually merge resource files.
Amanuens Beta currently supports Subversion-based source code repositories and is compatible with Microsoft .NET’s RESX resource files. Support for more types of repositories and more resource formats will be added in the upcoming months.
To fully understand the potential of
Amanuens, Threeplicate published a 2-minute
introductory video, available at
www.amanuens.com.
Threeplicate is also pleased to announce that all customers that will participate in the beta test, will get the service at a
discounted price for the first year of service. Threeplicate is also proud to support the open-source community by offering
Amanuens to all
open-source projects at no cost.
